This extraordinary sophomore album from the Jihye Lee Orchestra showcases the Korean composer and conductor Jihye (jee-yey) Lee’s adventurous and very personable storytelling approach to large-ensemble contemporary jazz-meets-modern classical music over the course of nine spellbinding compositions.
The follow-up to ‘April’, her widely-acclaimed 2017 debut, ‘Daring Mind’ includes Lee’s award-winning ‘Mind Series’ (‘Relentless Mind’, ‘Unshakable Mind’, ‘Revived Mind’, ‘Dissatisfied Mind’) and further confirms her place as a rising force on the New York music scene.

Renowned trumpeter Sean Jones plays in Lee’s orchestra and is featured on two tracks.
