James Blake makes a welcome return to the electronic roots of his Hessle, Hemlock and R&S Records days. It's an enticing blend of the dubstep sounds he originated with combined with elements of house and techno shot through with the cold melancholy and introspection of his songwriting output. It may be a cliche at this point but this is definitely one that nods to the dancefloor while fully embracing the headphones at home.
