Product Info

In a discography as decorated as Numan's, Telekon is something rather special. Effectively a dystopian, futuristic concept album based around the thought, "What if God is dead?"

"We must have done something wrong!" comes the harrowing response through the medium of the record; precise musicianship combine with often tongue-in-cheek yet cold and fantastical lyricism for an album brimming with feelings of alienation and often grandeur. Nay-sayers are sure to be won over by tracks such as opener 'The Wreckage' and album highlight 'Remind Me To Smile'.

I don't know where we cut and pasted this from but it's cobblers (even contains an incorrect track title). I had a girlfriend that owned a Telekon jump suit. She always described this album as Numan's "awakening". That's better.
