Divine Intervention

 This is one of the very best albums outside Slayer's late eighties golden period. It comes of the back of an exceptional predessessor in "Seasons In The Abyss", where perfect songwriting brought the best out of a unified and a well controlled extremity; but whilst "Divine intervention" doesn't quite match up to that level of intensity and quality, there is still an abundance of fast and muddy thrash metal to cruise along with.
