When the three founders of Jambinai decided to,“communicate with the ordinary person whodoesn’t listen to Korean traditional music,”fewoutsiders anticipated an extraordinary fusion withmetal, post-rock and noise. “Most people expectAsian traditional music to make something smoothfor yoga or meditation,” says band spokesman LeeIl-woo. “We wanted to break all of that.”
