The Japanese band Hebi Katana were formed in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. What started as extensive jam sessions and first demo recordings would soon become a monolithic heavy doom debut, when the trio took the heavy music community by storm with their self-released album.
Now it’s time for their second album, and ‘Impermanence’ is an impressive step forward.
Alternative rock and doom metal fans with a soft spot for 1970s vintage rock, dark melodies, big grooves and a hint of heavy grunge should lend an ear.
