The Japanese band Hebi Katana was formed in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. Of what started in extensive jam sessions and first demo recordings would soon become a monolithic heavy doom debut, when the trio took the heavy music community by storm with their self-released album.
Now it’s time for their second album; ‘Impermanence’ is an impressive step forward that alternative rock and doom metal fans with a soft spot for 70s vintage rock, dark melodies, big grooves and a hint of heavy grunge should lend an ear to.
