More Info

This anthology showcases three incendiary live to air performances by the Ramones, spanning the years 1977 to 1981.

Just weeks after releasing their Phil Spector-produced fourth album, End of the Century, the Ramones touched down in Paris to record a showcase set for France’s flagship music TV show of the time, Chorus TV. Side One showcases that performance, in its entirety, recorded at the Théâtre de l’Empire, on 24 February 1980.

Side Two showcases the band’s appearance on Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert, on 9 August 1977, in its entirety. In addition, the final track is taken from the Ramones’ appearance on the Tomorrow Show, recorded in New York, on 9 January 1981.

Here, the New York punk icons rip through twenty-three of their most iconic songs including Blitzkrieg Bop, I Wanna Be Sedated, Sheena Is a Punk Rocker, Beat on the Brat, Rockaway Beach, The KKK Took My Baby Away, Judy Is a Punk, Do You Remember Rock ’n’ Roll Radio?, Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment and more.
