Alex Chilton and Big Star fans will welcome this rare recording.Never before released on vinyl, no plans to repress. True RSD exclusive. No digital release until far in the future. This was recorded live in Belgium in 2004 with a pick-up band. Colour vinyl. CD is long out of print. Live in Anvers recorded for Radio Luxembourg is the last album Alex Chilton released during his lifetime. Includes originals “In the Street” and “Bangkok.” An obsessive crate digger, especially of southern soul music, Alex also unearthed and transcribed the music for Frederick Knight’s “Claim to Fame” and songs made popular by Wilson Pickett and Ernie K Doe.
