Teaming up with Philly MC and Roots member Black Thought, Danger Mouse lends his beautifully crisp hip hop production to this album while Black Thought, who is seemingly able to spit rhymes for days upon end, lays down a prolifically imaginative stream of consciousness touching on the personal, political and everything in between. A personal highlight is the posthumous DOOM verse on "Belize" which rides a trademark Danger Mouse '60s spy flick beat that sends chills down the spine.
