After years of being out of print, the fan favourite coming of agealbum for The Wonder Years is finally available again on vinyl.
‘The Upsides’ saw the band at a crossroads - shedding thesynth pop sound that characterized their early work, theyembraced a more lyrically driven, storytelling, name dropping,relatable sound that moved toward pop punk with feelings whilemaintaining the strong DIY work ethic of the punk / hardcorescene.
Culminating in marquee events, like playing three shows in 24hours across the country for their album release, and touringwith scene heavyweights like New Found Glory and Set YourGoals, The Wonder Years built a reputation for big ideas andcreative marketing.
Fast forward to 2021, 11 years after the band released thealbum that would change their lives, the band would play aglobal anniversary tour celebrating ‘The Upsides’ and prove tothe world that you don’t have to be defeated at 23 - life is worthfighting back for.
