CD version of the runaway success 2021 Record Store Day vinyl-only release!

Contains two bonus tracks, new artwork and contains liner notes (in both English and French) and lyrics.

April March has quite the resume. Being an animator on Pee Wee’s Playhouse and for Madonna’s Who’s That Girl, or collaborating with Brian Wilson, LL Cool J, Jonathan Richman, and Ronnie Spector would seem enough. But, she also has an acclaimed recording career, heavily influenced by French pop music. She renamed her English translation of Serge Gainsbourg’s “Laisse tomber les filles” as “Chick Habit,” and Quentin Tarantino featured it in his 2007 film, Death Proof. Over a quarter century of recording, she unveiled a vinyl-only release for Record Store Day in 2021. In Cinerama, which featured guest appearances from friend like Petra and Rachel Haden, Andy Paley, and Danny Frankel, presented 11 tracks that evoked bands like 5th Dimension to Belle and Sebastian to your favorite Curt Boettcher production. It was an unprecedented success, and sadly sold-out of its small run before most could hear the magic. In Cinerama returns in 2022 with updated artwork, new liner notes (in both French and English), printed lyrics, and two previously unissued bonus tracks.

It’s the perfect way to get acquainted with this influential and important artist. But, mostly, it’s a way to experience one of 2021’s most acclaimed releases.
