Diario Mali is a collaboration between Ludovico Einaudi and Malian musician Ballaké Sissoko on kora, released in 2003. Einaudi has often been inspired by Malian folk songs as seen with the album I Giorni. This album is a dialogue between two cultures, two different worlds. Echoes of renaissance music, African music, Blues and Carabic music featuring 10 calm and stimulating duets weaving beautifully between the virtuosity of a piano and the kora.
