For Cabaret Voltaire, \u003ci\u003eCODE\u003c\/i\u003e meant control, not just in regards to music-making, but also in terms of social and economic control against a backdrop of excess.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eRecorded at the band's own \u003cb\u003eWestern Works \u003c\/b\u003estudio in Sheffield, with Sherwood joining for pre-production before the sessions moved to \u003cb\u003eRed Bus\u003c\/b\u003e in London to mix, the album captures a band at the height of their commercial and creative powers. This reissue was begun in 2019 with Richard H.
