The debut album from Roxy Music, originally released in 1972. Recorded with their own money, before they had signed a record contract but quickly signed by Island after the album was completed, the album reached the top 10 in the U.K.
The album contains no singles but is full of songs that have become classics. The hit single "Virginia Plain" was added on some versions of the album.
