Ninja Tune present the critically acclaimed 2013 album by Electronic music’s Renaissance man Travis Stewart, better known as Machinedrum, ‘Vapor City’ as a special edition gold vinyl double LP housed in a 5mm spined sleeve with black paper inners and artwork by Dom Flannigan and Eclair Fifi. Digital download code included.
Conceptually based on recurring dreams he has had for years about a metropolis, with ‘Vapor City’ Stewart has crafted a fully formed soundscape which doubles as a map into this imaginary universe. “‘Vapor City’ is an album inspired by a dream city,” explains Stewart. “A collection of different songs each representing different districts in the city.”
