Noel says of the single: "It was written in Abbey Road last November on the same day I wrote ‘Black Star Dancing’. It’s that good, it sounds like it took 5.4 people to come up with it. It’s already a live standard and we haven’t even played it yet.” ‘Blue Moon Rising’ is the third EP of new music from Noel to be announced in 2019. ‘Black Star Dancing’ was released in June followed by ‘This Is The Place’ in September.

United KingdomGold vinyl treat. I wasn't expecting to know all the tracks on this EP, but at least i'd heard the title track. The 2 other tracks were very good and I was very happy with side one. I haven't played side two as they are just remixes and I didn't buy the record for them. The third of 3 limited edition 12" singles by Noel and I was so happy to have collected all 3.. Thanks for the great service Sister Ray!!!!
